Lost Art

Its better to stumble across something then look and not find it, but I still keep looking. A few months ago we had a retired stock man visit the station, he worked here over sixty years ago and said there was a cave in one the escarpments behind the homestead filled with rock art, spears, boomerangs and other artifacts. After speaking to a local elder we found out that the cave had been lost with the last generation. So when ever the weather suits I take off on foot to see if I can find the cave, but its been unsuccessful so far. At least I get to see more of the station and its amazing terrain than I normally would, hopefully I’ll find the cave sometime soon.
